Although it is easy to make a connection between the velop node and its satellite. All you will require is to use an ethernet cable of enough length and that must be in well working condition. Here we recommend you use the included ethernet cable which you get in the packaged box. Doing so will enable the satellites and nodes to have strong connectivity with maximized stability. Also, check whether the ethernet ports are functioning optimally or not. After doing this, try connecting your velop and closest node together by inserting the ethernet cable ends into their ports.

While connecting them, if you face a difficulty like velop devices not connecting to closest node, there can be a fault in them. Foremost of all, check the ethernet cables and ports if these are capable of making a connection or not. If these are alright and you still fail, then check the placement of both devices. Try moving them closer together if the distance between them is too much. It is advisable to locate them with a minimal distance while making the connection. Later, you can relocate both devices and place the main node centrally in your house. And another node to that area where you face slow internet speed.
